    About

KingOfCollege.com is run and maintained by current or recently graduated college students. We are here to help anyone who wants to hear advice about anything to do with college life directly from the experts. As college students ourselves, we here at King Of College experience the things we write about on a daily basis, so, although some aspects of college life are not always true for all colleges, many of them are – and you can learn from them.

Learn from our accomplishments and from our mistakes so you can look like a seasoned college veteran even if it’s your first day on campus. Become a genuine King of College and have the absolute best college experience possible.

The basic structure of KingOfCollege.com is complete, but we are planning to add some delectable goodies in the months to come, so be sure to check back often. We plan for the finished site to offering the following features for you:

    • Get advice from thousands of prospective, current, and graduated college students on topics ranging from what to do when you get caught doing something you shouldn’t to how to behave at parties or out on the town so you don’t look like a total douchebag. We want this site to be a comprehensive how-to guide for everything collegiate.
    • Buy, sell, and trade textbooks so you can get them dirt cheap. Feel free to laugh at those who spend $300 for a textbook, use it for 4 months, and then get $10 when they sell it back…or maybe you can laugh even harder because they didn’t get to sell it back at all due to the publication of a new edition, which is identical to yours but renders your copy worthless. This makes sense though because the new version has a revised, shinier cover with more pictures and the publishers corrected that one spelling error.
    • Find a place to live at college by searching a college-housing database. Get help finding the cheapest places to live without having to deal with rats as unexpected roommates.
      • Browse user comments about your potential abode to decide if it’s the real deal.
      • Find out if you’ll actually keep your $200 security deposit or if the landlord has a history of keeping the deposits for the irreparable damage you caused hanging posters with thumbtacks.
    • And even find friends to live with!

If you have general questions about college, or anything else for that matter, try posting on the Forum. If you can’t get your questions answered there or you want to contact us directly, here are e-mail addresses you can use:
