YouTube has a new feature that helps users find videos they actually like instead of having to sort through 15 videos of a cat getting stuck in a container to find 1 video that actually makes you chuckle.

I now have a page that shows a pseudo-random YouTube video every time you visit. YouTube selects which videos to show, based on my site’s content, so we can all hopefully avoid having to watch any more videos of feline tomfoolery.

I saw a funny video awhile ago that made me laugh out loud, which was kind of strange because I was all alone. A typical web video usually only makes me smile, or chuckle softly at the most, but seeing a girl think she was in danger of dying from a tablespoon of cinnamon was absolutely hilarious. The video was of a girl trying to disprove the myth that you can’t swallow a tablespoon of cinnamon without drinking anything. Being the educated people we are, I challenged my roommate to best her feeble attempt, he accepted, and this video is the result.

BUH LUD Video!

OK, I lied. The only way that this first video changed my life is I now have something new and annoying to yell while my roommates are trying to do work. It did, however, save me from the gloom of after-bar boredom last weekend, and for that it should be recognized as great.
